Arka plan
Köken ve tarih
Tsitska is a white grape of western Georgia, part of the family of native vines of Imereti. It keeps high natural acidity with moderate sugar and delicate aromas of pear, lemon, honey and melon, and it makes light, straw-coloured wines with a greenish tone.
It has traditionally been blended with Tsolikouri and Krakhuna, and it is now also made on its own, as a dry white, an amber wine, and a sparkling wine, for which its acidity suits it. No DNA parentage has been published for it.
