Genel bakış
Oakville hakkında
Oakville sits in the centre of the Napa Valley. Established as an AVA in 1993, it takes in gravelly alluvial fans on the valley floor and volcanic and sedimentary slopes on the western hills. Cabernet Sauvignon is the star.
The area includes some of the most famous names in California wine, including Robert Mondavi Winery, Opus One, Screaming Eagle and Harlan Estate. The wines are typically dark and dense, with blackcurrant, cedar and sometimes a hint of mint or eucalyptus.
Oakville haritada işaretli.

No official ranking
Prestige comes from individual estates and vineyards rather than any classification.
